genius Girls Coming Back with 'Somebody'

This week, I met an idol group ‘15&’ of two genius girls in a same age that came back with single album ‘Somebody.’ Last year, these two genius girls aged 16 sang their ambition and dreams with a debut track ‘I Dream’ making the greatest hit in entertainment industry. Now, they are singing love with curiosity. It was such a fun and mind-blowing time interviewing them just like their song representing fondness on the love. Meet ‘15&,’ a group of two cute girls and also a great gift for the fans out there to enjoy spring.

Hi! Please greet all the genie families out there and briefly introduce ‘15&.’

Jimin, Yerin: Hello, all the genie Music families! We are Jimin Park and Yerin Baek from an idol group ‘15&’ of the greatest attraction. Nice to see you all! The group name ‘15&’ means the age that we made our debut. In addition ‘&’ specifically means the future that lies ahead of us.

Wow, ‘&’ has such a meaning. Well then, the year 2013 should be when you all turn into 16. Come to think of it, it might be such a good name for you to reminisce when you were 15. I now wonder how you guys met up for the first time and prepared album together. Please walk us through it.

Hello!

What we look for first after waking up and are involved with to the last minute of a day before going to the bed is a phone. No one can deny it. People read books through smart phone. Especially, those reading genie magazine would definitely use smart phone.

Can’t we just talk in person?

Long time ago, we were only able to use the phone at home. Especially, most of homes had only one telephone that any family members on the phone long time had an attitude from other family members or got scolded. However, we are all rising generation living in a different world from them, and the only thing we worry about is how much data room we are left with. Wi-Fi is a solution of it. However, I have a major fright on the phone. Wonder what it means? I have no problem communicating with text or SNS, but I tend to come up with all unnecessary thoughts whenever someone calls me or when I have to call someone. It becomes the worst when I should make a phone call.

I tend to agonize myself asking, “what if he/she is busy, what if he/she is reluctant to pick up my phone call, or what if he/she did not save my number on the phone.” These thoughts make it so hard for me to dial. Even if I call someone and actually talk over the phone, I stress myself not to stutter and end the conversation nicely. So, I hardly call anyone that is not my close friend. If I talk to a person in person, I can read their mind through facial expression, giggles, or hand gesture. However, I tend to talk longer than usual over the phone just not to give a person any chance that he/she has bad attitude from me. Talking longer frequently deviates myself from what I am supposed to say.

To be honest, I had such an occasion.

What is more interesting is that I tend to stress out if receiving a phone call after hanging out with a person. I frequently ducked out a call and texted back by making some excuses for the reason why I could not pick up a phone call. You might ask if I am timid. No, I am not. I am such a big name as a laugh riot that makes friends laugh via SNS or text. I promise. However, I can’t go any further than that. I luckily have friends preferring to communicate with text over phone, so no one really knows about my phone fright. But, my family is now making fun of me with it since I always avoid calling for food delivery or janitor’s office. Someone would say it is just a trauma on the phone, but I cannot come up with any bad memory.
